Web Design Project Description: This project will require the development of a great looking landing page; a map based click through to location first, and than a few pages allowing viewers to locate our athlete members by sport and location. The site will need a news/blog area for the addition of content, a profile page for our athletes that is driven by their input of name, data, pics, vide or embeddable link, and possibly he upload of some pdf files to their page as well. The site allows editorial control of new profiles submitted as well as the user being able to pay for an upgrade at our site as well. The site needs to be developed to have code that can be mirrored at several regional sites that will be branded under about 10 URL`s although functionality will remain the same. There will be a strong emphasis on using Social Media Tools and web 2.0 tools (widgets) to allow our users and our content to be shared across teh internet. The design should be simple but very smart and with a cutin edge look and feel.
