Web Design Project Description: Number of pages (approx): 4-5 templates My Industry: Legal Education **Request for Proposal: Brand Identity and Website Design** ______ seeks to update its image and identity as the leading source of innovative teaching tools for pre-professional legal education. ____ is a 401(c)(3) nonprofit consortium of over 200 American law schools and other organizations around the world and is known by students and professors alike for providing high-quality educational content and technology-enhanced teaching tools. PROJECT DELIVERABLES We seek for most of this work to be developed in the context of a new website we are launching summer 2008: 1. Establish and implement a design vocabulary for a multi-purpose website, including: * 4-5 basic templates for use in the website`s various contexts * Fully-designed and usable graphical assets for use in these contexts * Design using HTML and CSS strongly preferred, although we do not need back-end programming 2. Refresh the ____ identity while incorporating the existing ____ logo. * Design about ten (10) product and service logos/icons consistent with the ____ logo. OTHER INFO * Our new website will be developed in Drupal. (We do not expect that this will have any meaningful impact on the ultimate design, but some folks like to know.) Our existing team of website developers will implement the design. * Because of the nature of the organization, our website is the primary means through which our constituency interacts with us. To the extent necessary, our staff can adapt designed elements to other assets, e.g. email templates. (In other words, we`re not looking for a typical "full" identity package). * The leadership and staff of ___ have already engaged the question of ____ new identity moving forward. We seek someone who can take our vision and turn it into a specific design. TIMELINE We are on a tight timeline for site design and seek to launch the new site by our annual conference on June 19. Thus, we want the design (Deliverable #1) completed by May 31. We would ideally have the product and service logos also complete by that point, but hitting that deadline is not as urgent.
